DESCRIPTION:

Anaerobic adhesives are one of the most important achievements of chemical engineerig in the field of bonding metals (steel, brass, aluminium etc.) they cure. Bonding take place after cutting the flow of air in contact two surfaces (of which at least one is metal). Metal acts as a catalyst. Initial cure is achieved in 15 min. and full cure in 24h. Anaerobic adhesives are also used to bond and seal different material combinations e.g. metals to plastic, rubber, glass. Anaerobic adheisve 6620 in blue colour of
medium strenght of bonding is used to lock threaded fasteners from loosening due to vibration. It is developed for assembly small loading bearings and sealing treaded fasteners well fitted. Perfectly replaces springing washers and cotters. It is also the most universal adhesive in assembly and sealing devices which can be very quickly dismantled in case of part failure.



HOW TO USE:

Use of the adhesive is very easy. You only need to apply a few drops directly to one of the surfaces to be bonded using the applicator. The other part should be fastened with a rotary motion (don’t immerse metal parts in a vessel containing the adhesive) e.g. the adhesive applied to the thread of screw during its screwing fills free space and lack of oxygen causes durable hardening of the adhesive.
Cylindrical parts (bearings, rolls, cylinder sleeves) should be also assembed with a rotary motion which ensures uniform distribution of the adhesive. Surfaces to be bonded should be clean and degreased. Light oiling on the surfaces is permissible.
