PARAMETERS:

Colour: blue
Life after mixing: 10 min.
Preliminary hardening (25°C): 45 min.
Full hardening: 12 h
Resistance to temperature: -40°C ÷ 100°C

CHARACTERISTIC:

  • May be used on wet surfaces
  • Does not contain solvents
  • Easy to use
  • Universal
  • Bond, seals and fills losses
  • Resistant to water and temperature to 100°C
  • Plastic consistency
  • On cure may be machined (grinding, drilling, threading)

IDEAL FOR:

Plumbing Epoxy Putty is an adhesive of the consistency of plastic mass. Designed for emergency repairs of water-sewage, cooling and heating installations. Durably seals and bonds. Prevents metal elements from corrosion.
At room temperature becomes very hard just after 45 minutes and may be mechanically machined (grinding, drilling, threading etc.)
Resistant to atmospheric factors, temperature, aggressive chemical compounds (acids, alkalis, solvents, petrol) and maintenance fluids.
Typical uses include repairs:

  • Heat exchangers
  • Heaters
  • Refrigerating units
  • Water conducts

BENEFITS:

  • For emergency repairs
  • Safe to use
  • Just mix and apply
  • Bonds to metals, ceramics, plastics
  • One product – a lot of uses
  • For indoor and outdoor uses
  • Makes possible to form different shapes
  • Allows to reproduce damaged elements

HOW TO USE:

  1. Roughen the surface to be repaired with a sand paper or file.
  2. Remove all sorts of dirt and degrease (use Cleaning Kit P-102 or Technical Degreaser P-959).
  3. Mix (by kneading) the same volumes of components A+B until uniform colour is achieved.
  4. Execute rebuild within 10 minutes.

HINTS AND TIPS:

  • Heat the components A+B to room temperature before mixing them
  • Do not mix larger quantities of components A+B than you can use up within 10 minutes (service life)
  • Repair time may be shortened heating the joint with a jet of hot air
  • Surfaces that are difficult to bond should be earlier  covered with a thin layer of liquid epoxy adhesive (e.g. E-358) and left to cure

STORAGE:

Store at a temperature: 5°C - 25°C. Protect from moisture.
